Day 107

Meet Kam, the Saint Bernard. Largest dog ever. First time I saw her I thought she was a polar bear.

Day 106

Maybe he thought I was going to take his food from him...well he was right. That grass looks mighty tasty.

Day 105

A large grasshopper that was very friendly about letting me take his/her photo. And especially after being chased by a giant toddler.

Day 92

Butterflies are notoriously hard to photograph, they're always moving around! Lucky for me this little guy couldn't fly (too young I suppose). For another angle, go here.

Day 74

The bee is one of the few insectoids I really despise. If they weren't responsible for delicious honey, I would have them eradicated from the planet. What other animal would sacrifice its own life just to just to be a minor annoyance?

Day 70

It's the last day of the animal theme and I ran out of animals to photograph. Big surprise. But humans are animals, right? Well Andrew here is more beast than man, so I'll use this image of him pretending to be tough.

Day 69

Here we see Schroeder licking up the remains of a fallen chicken egg. For a dog, this was probably the highlight of his day.

Day 68

The quieter, less people friendly goat soaks up the warmth of the afternoon sun. It was obvious he wanted nothing to do with me and my strange black magic box.

Day 67

How am I supposed to get any work done when the orange menace wants attention? Several puncture wounds later I got this shot and then Thomas was on his merry way. Thanks buddy!

Day 66

Lucy the Dachshund rolls around in the grass on a surprisingly warm winter afternoon. Not entirely visible by the camera are the globs of dried mud covering most of her body. Somebody was having way too much fun!

Day 65

How about we keep the ball rolling and post another animal photo. I've wanted to make this a theme for a while, but spending the majority of my time downtown makes it difficult. I'm going to go for it, though! Meet Pepper the pygmy goat.

Day 64

One...bird...on a wiiiiiire. Yeah I changed the lyrics a bit, but I think it's still pretty recognizable. Name that song!

Day 55

This is Warner's Theater downtown, with a flock of birds flying overhead. Usually after work I return to my car to see a nice fresh coat of bird excrement on the windshield. I guess they don't appreciate being photographed.

Day 52

So the subject of today's photo isn't green, but the majority of the shot is, so I don't mind. At first glance it's a lot like Michaelangelo's depiction of God creating Adam. That's as far as content goes, not quality. Although...
