No this isn't symbolic for anything, and no this isn't a take on a scene from Poltergeist. Dynamic lighting is one of my weaker skills in photography, so I thought I'd experiment a bit. The warm glow of a television gently illuminates some of it's subject, leaving the rest shrouded in darkness.
