ReplyDeleteThe bubbles are in the shadow of the house, which establishes an allegorical visual metaphor representing old age or adulthood (via the house), and the ephemeral nature of childhood dreams (the bubbles), and the way one must always chase the bubbles into the shadow where they will inevitably burst.
Did I get that about right?
